SPELLS & DRAGONS FOR YOUTH ORGANISATIONS

In addition to our usual after-school programs, Spells & Dragons is also available to run online and in person games for schools and youth services who may benefit from alternative education through the creative medium of D&D.

Dungeons and Dragons at its core is a collective story-telling game. Studies have shown that D&D can improve numeracy & literacy skills, pro-social skills, creates opportunities of empathetic learning and is a creative tool to facilitate mana enhancement in rangatahi players.

Harris, one of our Game Masters, has a background in psychology & creative writing and has worked in many support work based roles, including supporting youth development and youth living with mental illness.

Using these facilitation skills, Spells & Dragons can also be applied as an in-person program for youth services looking for an alternative creative education pathway.

How and where we can offer these games - as well as the structure of these programs - can vary largely, so it is best to get in touch to discuss what you had in mind.

We are more than happy to design a specific program for your needs and write a proposal to help you achieve your goals.
